Role of the Board
The Snohomish Park and Forestry Board advises and recommends to the City Council on policy and fiscal matters relating to parks including long-range parks planning, property acquisition and master parks planning within the City of Snohomish. The Boards also serves as the Tree Committee within the City, advising staff on protecting, strengthening, and expanding the urban forest through education, planning, and stewardship.
