The Snohomish City Council voted “no” (4-3) last night regarding the adoption of Ordinance 2442 which would have amended Chapter 3.50 of the Snohomish Municipal Code (SMC) to extend the multi-family housing tax exemption (MFTE) to the Midtown District.

Blackmans Lake is experiencing a potentially toxic bloom of blue-green algae. The bloom looks like bright green paint floating on the surface of the water.
