In order to protect and preserve our community and citizens, Snohomish County Law Enforcement has partnered with other agencies to provide its citizens this convenient and free medicine disposal program.

Keeping unused, unwanted and expired prescription drugs in your home poses a risk to you, your family and your community. Improper disposal may lead to illegal use and may also contaminate our waters. This program will provide you with an easy, secure and responsible way to properly dispose of these drugs

To dispose of unused medication, you can bring your prescription medications to the police department where they are securely stored then disposed of as part of the Snohomish County Partnership for Secure Medicine Disposal Program.
