Obtaining Police Records
Effective Sunday, March 1, 2020 all public records requests received for Snohomish Police Department records will be processed by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) Public Disclosure Unit (PDU).
Public records requests will still be accepted at the Snohomish Police Department but will be forwarded to the SCSO PDU for processing. If you would like to submit a new public records requests directly to the SCSO PDU, you can use one of the following methods:
Visit the Snohomish County website and use the GovQA portal to create your public records requests: https://snohomishcountywa.gov/3019/Request-Records
You can visit one of our precincts, or the Snohomish Police Department, and ask the staff for a new public records request form to fill out.
You can visit the fourth floor of the Snohomish County Courthouse and ask the staff for a new public records request form to fill out.
You can fax a new request directly to the SCSO Public Disclosure Unit at 425-388-3939.
You can send an email directly to the SCSO Public Disclosure Unit at Unit.SCSOPublicDisclosure@snoco.org.
