SEPA Checklist and Determination of Non-Significance for the Hal Moe Pool building at 403 Third Street, an abandoned indoor swimming pool facility of approximately 19,000 square feet, originally constructed in the 1960s. Material hauling and removal, including abatement of hazardous materials is proposed, in addition to capping of utilities, clearing, grubbing, tree removal, hydroseeding, and associated grading and erosion control. Sidewalks and other miscellaneous surfaces will be repaired and restored after the building is removed. The site will ultimately be used for public park land.
