With the heavy snowfall, we are diverting crews to support snow plow efforts. This means City Hall will be closing early so that crews do not need to focus on keeping the parking lot cleared. If you need service, please visit our website at www.snohomishwa.gov or email info@snohomishwa.gov.
Moderate to heavy snow is expected across much of western Washington through Tuesday evening. There is a 5-15% chance of freezing rain in a few areas.
The next system is lined up to impact the region Thursday night into Friday. This system could bring a wide array of hazards including freezing rain, snow, and rain on snow. The threat of freezing rain is high for many areas with this system.
Rapidly warming temperatures and moderate to heavy rain could lead to significant rain-on-snow impacts including river flooding, urban flooding, etc. through the holiday weekend.
After enjoying some fun in the snow, take advantage of the break in weather this afternoon to shovel and/or salt sidewalks and driveways.
