Obtaining Police Records
You may request a copy of a police report in person or through the mail. The cost is 15 cents per printed page. Records request forms are available at our customer service window in the lobby. If you choose to mail in your request, include a letter with your information in it, as well as your case number and a self-addressed stamped envelope.
We will respond to your request within five business days. If records are not yet be available for release, in that event you will be notified of the status of the case.
You may be asked to present photo ID at the time you request or pick up your report. This is to comply with laws regarding the release of restricted information. If your case is a criminal case, your request may be forwarded to the city prosecutor for release.
Public disclosure requests will be taken over the phone, fax or through email and released with appropriate redaction.

Police Activity Map
Police Department data is used to create this Community Crime Map. The map is a representation of calls to our 911 center. It does not include exact addresses or details to protect confidentiality.
Not all incidents are uploaded for investigative or officer safety reasons. The map is updated roughly every day.
If you have a concern about police activity in your neighborhood, you can call Snohomish Police for information.
