Construction for the 2nd & Lincoln Traffic Signal Project has begun.
This project will improve the crossing at 2nd Street for those using the Centennial Trail and consist of traffic signal installation, Centennial Trail realignment, asphalt overlay, channelization, ADA ramp improvements and landscaping.
The contractor has been working on the south side of Second Street and has implemented traffic control measures to shift traffic to the north keeping flow going in both directions.
There will be continued activity on the south side of Second Street for the next two weeks as the contractor installs new curb and sidewalk. During this period the same traffic control measures will continue and so traffic should not be impacted.
Sometime early to mid November, construction activity will move to the north side of Second Street and the contractor will implement traffic control measures to shift traffic to the south keeping flow going in both directions.
Over the next several weeks, travelers may experience occasional delays during construction. Please monitor this webpage for continual updates.
