Free Holiday Training for Local Businesses

2021 Holiday Shopping Outlook Trends

The City of Snohomish, Washington has engaged Retail Strategies to host a FREE virtual training on October 6, 2021 at 9:00 AM PT titled 2021 Holiday Shopping Outlook & Trends.

During this live training, hear consumer shopping trends for the 2021 holiday season and identify what your local business can do to capture your share.

In 2020, holiday shopping revenue was at an all-time high, yet consumers purchased gifts and holiday items differently than prior years. Will 2021 continue the trends of “buy-online-pick-up-in-store?” Is your business online?
Led by Jennifer Gregory, President of Downtown Strategies, Jenn will share practical strategies that locally owned businesses can implement for a successful holiday season. She will also review past and future holiday shopping trends and consumer behaviors. Join us for this interactive training to discuss these trends and specific strategies you can implement for your best holiday season yet!

“We’re thrilled to partner with the City of Snohomish and to have the opportunity to get to work with local business owners through this and other upcoming trainings. Snohomish has a unique local economy, and we’re looking forward to customizing strategies for local business owners that will assist them in their efforts to maximize record consumer spending and target their unique customers successfully.” – Jennifer Gregory

Using a portion of the City of Snohomish’s allotment of American Rescue Plan Act funds, the City contracted with consulting firm Retail Strategies to provide a suite of coaching and training for local businesses to include: Omni-channel Retail Strategies for Local Businesses, Restaurant Recovery & Advancement Strategies and Modernizing Business Operations. The trainings will be held live and recorded for ongoing delivery. 1 to 1 coaching will also be available.
